We Care About You
On Thursday, I stood with Baltimore County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Rogers, housing advocates, and Baltimore County Executive John Olszewski Jr. as he vetoed APFO Bill 31-24. Although we all share the same goal of reducing school overcrowding, Bill 31-24 simply misses the mark. This legislation drastically reduces attainable housing countywide, and after conferring with our County attorneys, Bill 31-24 is in direct conflict with our County Charter as well as our voluntary compliance agreement with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
